POS had no field for the data → custom fields at the counter, on the order.
Staff needed to capture order specifics at the counter that Shopify POS has no field for, and were tracking them on paper.

001 Theme architecture Four storefronts ran four diverging codebases, and one team was maintaining all of them. 002 Full theme switch The store needed a complete theme replacement without going offline or losing orders while trading continued. 003 Ongoing development A steady stream of storefront work: enquiry forms the theme could not do, a booking calendar, and theme transfers between environments. 004 Checkout UI extension The brand wanted a shipping protection offer at checkout, and no off the shelf app matched how their checkout worked. 006 Fulfilment integration Orders had to reach an external fulfilment provider, and support was answering delivery questions from two systems.
